v0.1.16

সর্বশেষ

Added

  • The gavel. Android notifications now sound like ClauseShift: a wooden gavel knock-knock (with a matching double-tap vibration) when a review finishes or a contract deadline approaches.
  • Paste from clipboard, in one tap. When you open a review with a contract already copied, a "Paste from clipboard?" chip offers to drop it straight in.
  • Copy any finding. Long-press a risk finding (or tap its copy button) to copy the quoted clause, the evidence, and the recommendation as clean text for a negotiation email or chat.
  • Search and filter your reports. Once you have a few saved reviews, the reports list gains a search box and High / Moderate / Lower risk filters.
  • Adjustable text size. A slider in Settings > Appearance scales the app's text (on top of your system size) for easier reading of dense memos.
  • Notification actions. Review-complete notifications get a "View report" button; deadline reminders add "View" and "Remind me tomorrow" (snooze).
  • Home-screen shortcuts. Long-press the app icon for New review, Reports, and Deadlines.
  • Reviews survive going offline. Start a review with no connection and it is saved, then runs automatically when you are back online (with a banner to run it now).
  • Per-app language. ClauseShift now appears in Android's per-app language settings, listing every language it ships.
  • What's new. After an update, a short highlights sheet shows what changed.
  • Newsletter opt-in at signup. Creating an account, on the web or in the app, now offers a "Join the newsletter for product updates and news" checkbox. Unchecked by default, and a newsletter hiccup never blocks signup.
  • Drafts survive a closed tab. The web review workspace now quietly saves the contract title and text as you go. Come back after an accidental tab close or refresh and a small banner offers to restore the unsent draft (or discard it). Drafts clear once the review runs and expire after a week.
  • Copy any finding, on the web too. Every finding on the web now has a Copy button that grabs the risk, the quoted clause, the evidence, and the recommendation as clean text for a negotiation email. It matches the Android app's copy format, and works on saved reports, fresh reviews, and shared report links.
  • Search your saved reports on the web. The dashboard reports list gains a search box next to the risk filter and sort, matching the app.
  • Ctrl+Enter starts the review. Pressing Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) in the paste box runs the review without reaching for the button.

Changed

  • Clearer error messages. When something goes wrong (offline, a file that will not import, a failed transcription), the app now shows one short, plain sentence instead of a technical error dump.
  • Google Play is the main way to get the Android app. The download card on the site leads with Google Play now that the app is live there; the direct APK, its build picker, and checksums remain one step below, and the QR code now opens the Play listing.
  • A shorter Review page banner on phones. The workspace banner gets to the point in one line, and the "Backend configured" chip is gone; a chip only appears if the backend is actually unreachable. Intake now fits above the fold on phones.
  • Newsletter wording everywhere. The footer box and emails now talk about product updates and news instead of "new platforms".
  • More reliable scheduled housekeeping. Review-queue recovery, the data-retention purge, the newsletter drip, and deadline reminder sweeps moved from GitHub Actions to the Cloudflare monitor worker. Same schedules and behavior, but the jobs keep running even when the CI quota is exhausted, and a failing sweep now sends an alert email instead of failing silently.

Fixed

  • Sample contracts never cost anything. Running a built-in sample is a demo of how a report looks, so it now always runs free: it never spends a credit, never counts against your monthly reviews, and is never blocked by a usage limit, even on its very first run.
  • Newsletter unsubscribe links always work. Links for plus-addressed emails (like name+tag@gmail.com) could show "invalid or expired" when a mail client mangled the address on the way through; the server now repairs that and unsubscribes you. The newsletter drip also refuses to run if its once-per-person ledger is unavailable, so nobody can receive the same email twice.

v0.1.15

Added

  • A one-time invitation to rate the app. On the Google Play version, after your second successful review (at least two days apart), the app may ask once whether you want to rate ClauseShift on Google Play. Decline and it never asks again.
  • Adjustable email risk alerts. Pro subscribers choose how sensitive the alerts are (off, high risk only, moderate and high, or every review) on the web and in the app.
  • Reviews that pick up where they left off. Long reviews now run through a background queue that survives restarts and connection drops, and a review is never charged twice even if it has to resume.
  • Encrypted on-device storage. Data the Android app keeps on your device now lives in an encrypted vault.
  • Trust Center and social links in the app. The About section links the public Trust Center, and one row collects ClauseShift's social profiles in a bottom sheet instead of a wall of links.
  • Email a contract straight from the app. The "email the contract to review@clauseshift.com" hint on the Android review screen is now tappable: a tap opens your mail app pre-addressed, and a long press (or a device without a mail app) copies the address instead.
  • Teams inquiries. The pricing page, in every language, now invites teams and companies to say what they need at contact@clauseshift.com, so real requests can shape a future team plan.
  • Install tip for iPhone and iPad. Since iOS never offers to install web apps on its own, visitors on an iPhone or iPad now get a small dismissible hint pointing at Share > Add to Home Screen. It stays out of the way once dismissed and never shows inside the installed app.
  • Google sign-in on desktop. "Continue with Google" now completes on the Windows (and other desktop) app: the browser hands the sign-in back to the app through a local listener instead of stalling on "redirecting".
  • Save reports as files on desktop. "Export report" on Windows now opens a proper save dialog and writes the report where you choose, instead of the system share sheet.
  • Collapsible sidebar. On wide windows, a menu button in the app bar collapses the sidebar down to a compact rail (and remembers your choice).
  • Replay the intro. Settings > Help now has "Replay the intro" to see the welcome tour again after first run.
  • Disposable email addresses are blocked at sign-up , with a clear message, on the web, in the app, and on the server.
  • Lite everywhere it was missing. The homepage pricing section now shows the $9 Lite plan alongside Free, Pro, and credits, and the upgrade dialog spells out the per-review price on each credit pack and the saving on the annual Lite plan. The pick-your-own-amount slider now points out when a bigger credit pack costs less than the chosen quantity and switches to it in one tap.
  • Lite in the Android app. The upgrade sheet on every store build (Google Play, Amazon, Huawei AppGallery, and the direct download's web checkout) now offers the Lite plan next to Pro, with a simple Pro/Lite switch and the same monthly or annual choice.
  • Sharing a file to ClauseShift lands properly. Sending a contract from another app (like Files) now opens the review workspace with the document imported, instead of a "Page Not Found" screen.

Changed

  • ClauseShift is live on Google Play. Every mention of the closed test is gone: the homepage badge links straight to the Google Play listing, and the old testers page now redirects there.
  • A deeper Trust Center. The public sub-processor table now names every provider with its certifications, a Data Processing Agreement is in place with Speechmatics, and the AI provider's written commitments (no training, no sharing for training, transient processing) are stated on the Trust Center and in the privacy policy.
  • Only the providers we actually use are listed. The provider list now shows Gemini and DeepSeek for premium reviews and names ChatGPT as the free-tier model; the unused direct-Gemini fallback entry is gone.
  • The TRYPRO launch offer came down. The permanent $9 Lite plan covers that price point now. Codes already issued still redeem.
  • No more battery-exemption prompt. The Android app no longer asks to ignore battery optimizations.
  • One backend, honest errors. The app-facing backend picker is gone (the app always uses the hosted service), and if every AI provider fails you get a clear error instead of placeholder results.
  • Old versions can be asked to update. The server can now set a minimum app version, so a build with a broken integration can prompt for an update instead of failing quietly.
  • Desktop typography. The desktop app now uses the same UI font as the web app (Space Grotesk) instead of the system fallback, in light AND dark mode, with a true SemiBold weight so semi-bold text no longer renders with the heavy Bold cut.
  • Desktop scrolling. Long pages keep a visible scrollbar at the window edge (not next to the text column), and it can be dragged.
  • Buttons read as clickable. Every button shows the hand cursor on hover, and solid buttons (like "Start review") visibly darken on hover.
  • Every export saves as a file on desktop. Account-data export and calendar (.ics) exports now use the save dialog on Windows too, and the invite-link button copies the link to the clipboard instead of opening the share target.
  • Collapsed sidebar shows the brand. The compact rail carries the gavel mark above the navigation, so the empty strip is gone.

Fixed

  • Windows launcher icon. The MSIX packager was cropping and zooming the icon art into every tile; tiles now use the full square mark, and the install dialog no longer paints a blue plate behind it.
  • Backing out of checkout is handled. Leaving for payment and returning without paying now shows a clear "payment did not go through" notice instead of a button stuck on "Starting...".
  • Password rules are spelled out. Sign-up shows a live checklist of the actual requirements as you type, and password dialogs name the rules instead of echoing a raw server error.
  • PDF import on the web. Importing a PDF no longer fails on the deployed site (the text extractor is now bundled correctly).
  • Keyboard and motion accessibility. Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them and return it on close, reduced-motion mode keeps progress indicators visible instead of freezing them, and buttons no longer stay enlarged after a tap on touch screens.
  • More of the app translates. Risk labels and file-import errors that always showed English now follow the app language.
  • Contact form in the app. Sending a message from the app no longer fails with "Verification failed": signed-in app users are exempt from the web form's CAPTCHA.
  • Sidebar tagline now translates with the app language.

v0.1.14

Added

  • Russian language support. The web app, the Android app, and all 22 contract guides are now fully available in Russian.
  • Upgrade in the app on OPPO. On the OPPO App Market version you can now subscribe to Pro and top up review credits right in the app through a secure web checkout.

Changed

  • Smoother onboarding. The intro slides now scroll cleanly on smaller screens, so nothing is cut off, and the welcome copy is clearer.
  • Clearer privacy wording. The privacy notes across the product now state plainly that your documents are not used to train AI, by ClauseShift or its providers, who have confirmed this in writing.

Fixed

  • Queued reviews start immediately. Reviews submitted for background processing no longer wait for the next scheduled pass before starting.

v0.1.13

Added

  • Your first review is a full Pro review, on us. New free accounts now get their first contract review run by our most capable two-model analysis at no cost, on the web and in the Android app, with a note showing what Pro adds.
  • Account data export. Download a machine-readable copy of your account data from the web or Android settings.
  • Shared-link controls. See active shared report links, their expiry dates, and revoke them from your account.
  • Trust Center. A new public page explains how contract content, reports, providers, retention, backups, and security controls work.

Changed

  • A smoother first launch. The privacy notice no longer interrupts the first start of the Android app; on the AppGallery version it is now a clean full-screen page instead of a popup.
  • A refreshed sign-in screen. The Android sign-in screen has a cleaner, more welcoming layout with the ClauseShift brand and a clear welcome.
  • Easier-to-read dark mode. Brand text and highlights across the app now stay clearly legible in dark mode.
  • Clearer purchase messaging on AppGallery. When in-app purchases are not available for an account or region, the app now says so plainly instead of showing an error code.
  • Clearer onboarding wording. The audio step now says you can transcribe an audio recording.
  • Stronger protection on Android. Saved reports and account data are encrypted on the device, excluded from cloud and device-transfer backups, and production connections are HTTPS-only.
  • Clear retention limits. Shared report links expire after 30 days, and reports left in Trash are permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • More reliable reviews. Interrupted requests can resume or replay safely without counting the same review or credit twice.
  • More accessible reports. Risk badges, clause citations, and finding cards now carry clearer screen-reader labels.
  • More precise privacy disclosures. The policy and in-app consent explain that ClauseShift trains no AI of its own, while third-party provider training behavior is not currently known or claimed.

Removed

  • Beta invite prompts. The tester invite card in the Android app and the Play beta link on the website are retired ahead of the Google Play launch.
  • Battery-exemption request. Reviews no longer ask Android for permission to ignore battery optimization.

v0.1.12

Changed

  • Contract guides are grouped by topic. The guides index on the web is now organized into clear categories, so the right guide is easier to find.
  • Tidier report screen on Android. The re-review and report-an-issue options now sit in a menu, keeping the main actions front and center.

Fixed

  • Steadier two-model reviews. Reviews consolidate both AI models more reliably, with a clearer notice on the rare occasion a second model is briefly unavailable.

v0.1.11

Changed

  • Every purchase screen now has a close button. The subscription and credit sheets on all store versions of the Android app can be dismissed with one tap, not just a swipe.

v0.1.10

Added

  • Privacy notice on first launch. The Android app now shows a clear privacy prompt with links to the Privacy Policy and Terms the first time it opens.

Changed

  • Purchase sheets have a close button. The upgrade and credit sheets can now be dismissed with a visible close button, not just a swipe.
  • The privacy policy names the developer so it is clear who operates ClauseShift.

v0.1.9

Fixed

  • Right language on first launch. On phones set to a language the app does not ship yet, the app now opens in English instead of German. Phones set to a supported language keep that language.
  • No more crash from an interrupted sign-in link. If a sign-in link cannot be completed, the app now returns to the sign-in screen with a note asking you to sign in again.

v0.1.8

Added

  • Trash on Android. Deleted reports in the Android app now move to a Trash where they can be restored for 30 days or removed for good, matching the web dashboard.
  • What's new after updating. When the app updates, a short note now shows what changed in the release.
  • Public changelog page. The website now has a full changelog in all six languages.

Changed

  • Deleting on Android is reversible now. Clearing or removing reports shows an Undo and keeps them in the Trash instead of deleting immediately.
  • Send feedback from the home screen with a new shortcut in the Android app.

v0.1.7

Added

  • Live answers in contract Q&A. Ask about your contract and watch the answer appear word by word as it is written, on web and Android.
  • Q&A history per report. Your questions and answers are saved with each report and follow your account across devices.
  • Email a contract in. Forward a contract to review@clauseshift.com from your account email; the report lands in your dashboard and a summary comes back by reply email.
  • All 22 guides in five more languages. Every contract guide is now fully translated into German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean.
  • Trash with 30-day recovery. Deleted reports move to a Trash section where they can be restored or removed forever; nothing is destroyed by accident.
  • Newsletter signup in the footer. Get launch updates from any page, in all six site languages.

Changed

  • Deleting is reversible now. Removing a report or clearing the list no longer interrupts with an "are you sure" prompt; an Undo toast and the Trash cover mistakes instead.
  • Account deletion asks you to type your email instead of a generic confirmation word, so the irreversible step is deliberate.
  • The contact form waits before sending. Messages queue for ten seconds with a visible countdown and a Cancel button, so a hasty send can be pulled back.
  • Clearer sign-in help when you try to sign in with a different method than you signed up with.

v0.1.6

Added

  • Seven new contract guides : non-compete, influencer, gym membership, car lease, medical consent, privacy policy, and software license (EULA).
  • Front-and-center Android download on the website that detects your device and offers the right APK automatically.

Changed

  • Contract Q&A and re-review are highlighted across the guides, the app listing, and the upgrade dialog.
  • The direct APK download is noted as carrying the best price alongside the store versions.

Fixed

  • Signing out on one device no longer signs you out on your other devices.
  • The Android build picker no longer overflows on narrow screens.

v0.1.5

Added

  • Direct APK download with in-app updates. ClauseShift for Android is now available as a direct download that keeps itself up to date inside the app, no store account needed.
  • Live review checklist. Reviews show their progress as a ticking, stage-by-stage checklist.
  • A plan that fits. Onboarding asks how you plan to use ClauseShift and suggests the plan that matches.

v0.1.4

Added

  • Five languages. ClauseShift speaks German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean across the app and the website, including the AI review reports and answers themselves.
  • Contract Q&A. Ask questions about a reviewed contract and get answers that quote the exact clause they come from.
  • Re-review a revised draft to see what was fixed, what remains, and what is new, with a revision section in exported reports.
  • Referrals. Invite friends from Settings; they get review credits for joining and you earn credits when they redeem your code.

v0.1.3

Added

  • 50-credit pack for bigger review bundles.
  • Live progress while a review runs, with friendlier error messages.
  • Published fair-use limits for Pro reviews, so heavy use is predictable.

Changed

  • Your plan and credits appear instantly when the app opens.
  • The annual plan is easier to compare on the upgrade screen.
  • Store badges are ordered by availability, and the Microsoft Store badge links to the live Windows listing.
  • The landing page shows real product screenshots, including a dark-mode variant.

v0.1.2

Added

  • Report an issue straight from a review result, on web and Android.
  • A privacy notice at sign-in and onboarding that links the policy before an account is created.
  • TikTok and X links on the About screen.

v0.1.1

Added

  • Launch banner with the TRYPRO introductory offer.
  • A short welcome email series for new accounts, with one-click unsubscribe.
  • LinkedIn links on the website footer and the app About screen.
  • Crash reporting on Android, disclosed in the privacy policy.

Changed

  • Plan cards show renewal details before you buy, so subscription terms are clear up front.

v0.1.0

First release.

  • Evidence-first contract review : every risk flagged quotes the exact clause it came from, so you can verify it yourself instead of taking an AI's word for it.
  • Paste, upload (PDF, DOCX, TXT), or record a contract; two AI models cross-check every review and produce an overall risk score.
  • Key dates and deadlines pulled out automatically.
  • Save, export, and share reports; sign in to sync them across phone and web.
  • Optional email risk alerts on Pro.
  • Help section with FAQs and a contact form.
