Is ClauseShift really free?
Yes. Every account gets three standard contract reviews a month at no cost, with no credit card required, and your first review is upgraded to the full two-model Pro cross-check on us. You can keep using the free tier for as long as you like.
What counts as one review?
One review is one contract analyzed end to end: the risk score, the clause-by-clause findings, the key dates, and the suggested questions. Asking follow-up questions about that contract and re-reviewing a revised draft are separate allowances, not extra reviews.
What is the difference between a standard review and the Pro cross-check?
A standard free review runs your contract through one model. A Pro or credit-backed review runs it through two independent models and consolidates what they agree on, which reduces misses on the clauses that matter. Your free first review gets the Pro cross-check so you can see the difference.
Do pay-as-you-go credits expire, and do I need a subscription?
No subscription is required. Pay-as-you-go credits let you run extra reviews, including the two-model cross-check, without a monthly plan. They are there for people who sign contracts occasionally rather than every week.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is a rolling subscription you can cancel whenever you like from your account, and it does not silently renew after a trial. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Why do the app-store versions cost a little more?
The web app and the direct Android download offer the best price. Versions bought through an app store cost slightly more to cover the store's fees. Whichever way you subscribe, your plan works across web, phone, and desktop.
